She has attended among many others a Multi-Regional program in the United States on community service and gained a wide experience and has done academic studies on Equal Status and Human Rights of Women Lund University/Sweden

She started her professional life a teacher and then headed Princess Basma Center for special education for several years

Ms. Bushnaq participated in the Vital Voices study tour 2008 to the United States
